Paris End-of-Summer Picnic
The city I know and love came back to life this weekend, for two glorious days of sun and warmth. I had almost given up on her, and was ready to accept that the rain and grayness would go on forever. Once again, Paris has the last word.

i love this photo! i feel like i can step right inside it, feel the evening air, hear the sounds ... ahhhh.
i hope it's not really the end of summer there yet, and that the summer sun stretches on longer, "rain checks" for all the rainy days.

Yes...we are getting lovely warm weather these days, and sun, sun, sun. Talk about recharging one's batteries! I only wish it had cleared up in time to enjoy the free outdoor cinema here (which is now over). C'est la vie!
